Rikochet goes Off Duty

Off Duty Gamers has put up a first look at Rikochet thanks to author Lunch Meat. Some early speculation (some of which is eerily close) along with the facts we have been releasing make for a great article. The article also features a screen shot from Rikochet as well as a military photo of lead programmer, SpecepiG. He doesn't have a black blob for a face I promise :)
ODG is a resource for military veterans. Those involved in the creation of ODG are active or prior service military who recognized that while the world seemed to be filled with military games and military gamers.

Here is the latest version of ADS vs non ADS with the MK. It will perform a slight pitch and roll and a very small fov change. The height is as it is in game but the width is cropped to be able to do the comparison.
ADS is dead center, nonADS is slight offset to the right as you can see based on the crosshair.

First Map, First Look

So you have seen the model now check out the first map we are working on. This map is being built by Jason who many of you already know from Call of Duty maps and numerous Battlefield 2142 maps.
Not to give too much away but the basis of this map is a train/tube station environment with a large hall area like you see below. The map currently doesn't have a name but feel free to make some suggestions for what we could call it on the forums at www.plasticpiranha.co.uk/forums

Ignore the Unreal HUD on the right of the images, this is being custom made and will replace any HUD you see there.
